Day 8 – Perth – Schotland Road-trip 2022

So cool to see that people read my blogs as well as reading them back myself. I think I found a new thing to do 😂

The day started with fireworks and ended with it 😉

Today we are looking at Loch Ness and a Castle. Then we will pass by Cairngorm National Park and go for Perth which is a city.

We had a great full breakfast with black pudding. That is an acquired taste that I acquired 😂

Uruquart Castle

The Castle that you must see at Loch Ness is this one. It stars in a Fairy Tale where Nessie saves 2 kids from drowning. Tale goes that 2 kids were starving. One of them remembered that there was a treasure hid after one of two doors.the kids searched on the bank of Loch Ness. They wend to the opposite side of the lake. Nessie listened and threw a key.

The kids saw 2 doors appearing and needed to choose one. One would lead to poison.

And one to the treasure. The first one had poison coming out of it so the arm got affected.

After this, we went to do some shopping for getting Nessie stuff and went on to Cairngorms

We went to the National Parc to see the reindeers. They are amazing. There is a floc of them grazing upon the hill but we were too late to visit them so we went to the stables. There were 3 guys and 2 calves grazing. So cute!!!

The people there did this for over 70 years already. So amazing

We went further down to Perth… let’s say that the city is not really our thing so we got a subway and went to the hotel room… forgetting what day it is…
