Day 2 – Edinburgh – Schotland Road-trip 2022

Well… the night could go worse I guess… my love is a bit I’ll do she is coughing a lot the poor thing. We’ll need to get her some coughing syrup later. At the same time the neighbor was sneezing her ass off… it resulted in falling asleep and waking up every few minutes and I think I had like a few hours in the mid of the night. 😳

Today we are going to look at some shops and Calton Hill. Tonight we also have a ghost tour in the vaults and the prison of Edinburgh.

First things first… food… yummy breakfast in Rocksalt. So great!

We then went on a small walk in the harbour.

Then taking the bus to Dean village. A must see!

Then we went walking to old town again

We did see some amazing things like calton Hill and the Kirkyard cemetery. There you see how J Rowlings made the characters for Harry Potter. You can see how it all came to life.

Night of the dead tour

We went on a guided tour beneath Edinburgh and in the prison of the covenants. That was amazing. The guide was very funny and we actually got taken with him on a wrong time 😂 we were half an hour early.

We didn’t know until we came across the guide at the end telling everyone he passed that some of that group belonged to him… oops. Not our fault ofcourse.
